your out of luck on that one.
about the only thing you can do is reinstall them one at a time and tell
them not to merge or replace your files. like the graphic dictionaries or
exception dictionaries. then it will continue to use your modifided
dictionaries.
but several times i e and firefox stopped working the way they were suppose
to until i updated there set files.

you should check. many times i have checked and there were some factory set
files that were out of date after i upgraded.

All you need to do is to press ctrl-alt-w. You need not update the factory
settings because when you update Window eyes, it does that automatically.
