Exactly. I've never seen that happen.

But thou must!

Have to strongly disagree here. I have been running Itunes on several computers now, and they all install the same. None of them, whatsoever, have saved my purchased songs in the Album Artwork folder.

When you enter the Itunes folder itself, scroll to the folder that says Itunes Media, and enter it. In here, you will find your purchases, sorted by content. That is, you will have one folder named Audiobooks, if you have bought any of them. Another would be named Podcast, if you are subscribed to any of that sort. The one that might interest most users, would be the subfolder named Music, and entering this one, you will find your purchased songs sorted mainly by artist.

So, once again, you go to your
   Itunes\Itunes Media\Music
folder, and there you will find each artist under his own subfolder.

I have never seen any of the audiofiles being stored in the album Arwork folder. And, not even the name of that folder, would make any sense for such behavior.

Hi Trent,

Okay, then. Open your DJ software, and press whatever key you must in order to open files to play.
Press shift-tab twice to get to the list view.
Press backspace many times until you don't hear the list view talking any more. Basically, by doing the backspace thing, you are trying to get back to the lowest level of your computer's views, not necessarily the root folder, but the root view. That lowest view is even lower than the Desktop in Windows 7.
Then, press L until you hear Libraries, and press Enter.
Note that you might have to use control-shift-s, as well as the arrow keys, to highlight the item you are looking for anywhere in these instructions.
Then, press M until you hear Music, and press Enter.
Then, press I until you hear Itunes, and press Enter.
Then, press A until you hear Album Art work, and press Enter.
All your purchases are stored in the Album Art Work folder, each artist having its own folder, with subfolders containing each of that artist's albums.

hth,

Rod

Hi Trent,

If your using Windows 7, your Itunes download folder is:

Ccc\Users\(your usernamegg\Music\iTunes\Album Artwork

If you're using Windows XP, I can't really be sure, but it is probably
something like:

Ccc\Documents and Settings\(your usernamegg\MyMusic\iTunes\Album Artwork

So, you would go into your DJ software and find the above folder and
just add the files you want.

This is the easiest way, because it means you're leaving the Itunes
files where they are.

You could always use My Computer to open the above folder, as well as opening a folder view of the working folder you use in your DJ software.
Then, you would do copy and paste to copy your purchases to your DJ
software folder.

May I make an important suggestion? Don't move your purchases out of
your Itunes download folder. If you do, Itunes can't keep track of what
you have bought. So, copy, don't move! smile.

Good luck,

Rod

Hello.
This is my first time doing this.
Thanks to Mr. Curry for signing me up to this Yesterday.
My question is Itunes.
I am a DJ and I use Virtual DJ Software.
I use Itunes to order songs.
There is an Itunes folder on the Virtual DJ program.
How do I place songs I order into the Itunes folder?
What steps do I need to take?
I have a dance this Evening and I need to know as soon as possible.
Thanks.
Trent.
