As far from my experience with gotomeeting, you can be the person attending, listen to the person presenting via audio. To look at the text chat, then you are pretty out of luck in regards. We are not even talking about what powerpoint they are showing on the presentation and so on. Its quite a visual thing to be honest. I attend that kind of semina quite often due to work but to participate like chat interactively via text, its quite difficult but audio should be fine.
