Hi Marcie,

Since you are running Window-Eyes 7.5.4 it is possible that you are
encountering a stability issue that has already been fixed in a more recent
version of Window-Eyes. First, make sure you update to version 7.5.4.1
which is the latest version you would be eligible to use without having to
pay for an upgrade. With that being said, there is only so much we can do
to support outdated versions of Window-Eyes and that is why we are
constantly updating Window-Eyes to address issues reported by our users and
also why we always encourage our customers to use the latest and greatest
version of Window-Eyes that is available. If updating to 7.5.4.1 doesn't
address your problem, we can help you test out the latest version,
Window-Eyes 8.2, to see if upgrading would be the best option to fix the
problem you are experiencing. Feel free to contact my directly and I can
help coordinate an evaluation of Window-Eyes 8.2 on your work computer.

Thanks,

Marc Solomon

Subject: Window Eyes 7.54 Stops Talking

From: Marcie Brink-Chaney <[email protected]>

At work we have Window Eyes 7.54 and Windows 7. Sometimes, if I move the

arrow keys or some other key before Window Eyes is through speaking,

speech stops and nothing I do can get it going again. Usually, I just

have to turn the computer off. If I do the alt control W shortcut to get

Window Eyes started again, I don't even get an error stating that Window

Eyes is already running. We don't have any s m as to upgrade to Window

Eyes 8. Any help would be appreciated.
