Hi Dennis,
I just compacted my folders for the first time yesterday, but didn't
notice any missing emails.
What I did find was another folder between the Sent and Deleted folders
called Archive.
In there I found a few emails which had been moved from my Saves folder.
So have a look to see if you've also got an Archive folder and hopefully
your missing mail will be in there.
