Repeat this process of each contact in the list you want to add to the category 9. Press Tab to move to the next edit box and verify the contacts who you have selected to be added to the group 10. Tab to the Save button and press Enter. After completing the above steps, you should be able to type the name of the category into the To field of an email message. Please note that these steps worked successfully using Windows Live Mail 2011 on a Windows 7 computer. The steps might vary slightly in newer versions of the email client under Windows 8.
