could you maybe find a converter to text? I've never dealt with the
format but it seems pretty popular. Also, if you can find it on the hard
drive, maybe you can save it as a different format? that's probably what
you were thinking.

The Blio Reader from blio.com uses the XPS format, along with some digital
rights management. I don't know whether it could be used as an XPS viewer;
probably you couldn't feed it a file that was not in its library.

I have not been successful in figuring out what keys to use in order to read
the text. The mouse keys give me a bit of information, but not much.
