Hi Tom and all
It's not exactly an *issue* it's an option in the Winamp scripts.
to fix this, do the following.
1. Open Winamp in the usual way i.e. make sure it's open and the main
Winamp window is active.
2. press alt plus shift plus t. You can now cycle between different
options for how the scripts read songs when they change. This is a
toggle, so you'll need to press it until you get the option you want.
If you don't want it to read any kind of title transitions, keep
pressing alt plus shift plus t until you hear window-eyes say Winamp
title automatic off previous track, next track and title transitions.
and that's all there is to it.
You can always change this at any point if you want to.
Hope that helps.

I am using WE 8.2 and Windows 7 64-bit Pro. When I am listening
tomusic, each time a n ew song starts playing, Window-Eyes announces
the name of the song and that the main window is active. This started
only recently. What must I do to stop this announcement? This also
occurs when video files are played, so I think it is probably a
Window-Eyes issue.
