Hi George,
In add or remove programs
tab to
turn windows features on or offand enter
then arrow down to media and arrow right to expand and arrow down to media player and uncheck
then tab to ok and enter
that should remove windows media player.
Then when the removal is completed,
then just follow the above steps and check media player to reinstall.
Good luck,
Manny

Hello list members,
I am using a Windows 7 64 professional with Windoweyes 8.2 and I can no
longer rip cd's to mp3 using the Windows media player. How can I repair or
reinstall the player on my computer? The player does not show up on the
add/remove programs on the control panel. Thank you.
