Kim,

Yes; Window-Eyes 8.0 and newer support Java. You will need to ensure that the Java Access Bridge is installed first, however. You can do this by running the GW Java Access Bridge Installer found in the Window-Eyes program group in your Start Menu.

Aside from sharing four letters in its name, JavaScript is a completely separate entity and has nothing whatsoever to do with Java.

Regards,
Steve

Does WE work with Java? I have Windows XP with all available updates. I'm running window-eyes version 8.2. Also, is javascript part of that program, or is it some kind of plug-in that you have to download and install separately. I was trying to help a friend with a job application, and I got the message that I needed Javascript. Is this all part of Internet Explorer, or a separate thing?
