Hello Wendy,
Since you aren't certain which specific settings you changed, I
recommend resetting them back to the factory defaults so you can start
fresh. To do this,
1. Press Control-Backslash to open the Window-Eyes control panel.
2. Press Alt-F, F to open the Factory Settings dialog.
3. Locate the "default global settings" entry and press Enter to
re-install them. If prompted to replace or merge dictionaries, choose
replace.
4. Once you are returned to the Factory Settings dialog, re-install the
Office 2003 set files. Again, choose replace if you are asked about your
dictionaries.
5. Restart Window-Eyes.
Let us know if the problem continues after the reset.
Regards,
Steve

I know it must be my fault, as I played around with the WE settings for Word
2003. Now when I go into a dialog box I can't get each of the options read
out to me. I can use insert numpad 5 to read some of them, but combo boxes
don't tell me which setting I am on. Can anyone put me right and tell me
what setting in WE to change?
Wendy
