the problem with your thinking is gw would have to rase the price of w e to
cover there extra cost.
which means people that like me that will never use facebook would have to
pay for it too. or go else where.
i'm being priced out of the market for most all adaptive products. weather
from gw or not.

I don't use and never will use Facebook, but
for those that do, surely it ought to be incorperated as an ap into
Window-eyes rather than having to pay an extra subscription. ----- Original

Hi Peter
I'm with ya! I think the point some folks are trying to make, and I can
see where they would make this one, is that regular joe sighted user
doesn't have to pay 50 bucks a year to access facebook, and the thought is
that we shouldn't either. However, the reality of it is that Facebook, in
its purest form has accessibility issues that, for whatever reason aren't
going to be fixed so GW came up with a solution that works better. I would
definitely like for it to be free for Window-eyes users just like GW
Connect is, but that's not the case. The anual fee doesn't seem all that
steap if you use it every day. Also don't forget during a limited time you
can get the first year for only $25. That's half off and that's not bad
especially, like i said above if you make use of it every day. Those who
make big use of Facebook will buy this, and those who won't will hopefully
skip it and move on. I don't know where some folks are being made to feel
less if they don't use social networks. Nobody's holding a gun to these
folks heads and forcing them to buy it. It's a choice.

Hello GW Staff and Listers,
I dont get it! What is all the whining about? This is a great benefit to
those who are sociable and wish to participate on FaceBook. A modest
yearly registration fee of $50.00 does not seems too unreasonable it
costs that much for my wife and I to go to the local movies twice.
Of course, there are folks who will find $50 hard to come by, but perhaps
a monthly or quarterly payment plan might be considered by GW Micro. The
point is: access to the dominant social network is certainly a
development to cheer about. (Over a billion people around the world would
probably second that sentiment.)
Myself, I find (so far) FaceBook, Twitter, etc. to be a big waiste of
time; but a billion people apparently disagree with me.
Please remember that FaceBook is constantly in flux, and payments are no
doubt necessary to keep SocialEyes up-to-date and fully functional.
Keep up the great innovation, GW!
