Hi,

That won't work, because when you plug in your external sound card,
Window-Eyes will see it and start with the new card, not the original one.

So what you want to do is to go into Control Panel of Window-Eyes
Control-Backslash, down to the Devices node, expand it and select
Synthesisers, then find the synth you are currently using and tab to the
sound card combo. Then force it to use the sound card you want. Sav
settings and bingo! It's current setting is Default Sound card which means
when you change it, Window-Eyes correctly switches to the new default sound
card.

All the best

Steve

best option to do hear, is to hit con trol back slash to get to the
window-eyes window, and then hit alt f 4 and enter to close window-eyes, and

then restart window-eyes again using the hot key control alt w.
