Peter,
I like your positive spirit. Im going to have my copy of SocialEyes in the near future. Regards Morné From: Peter Duran [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 10 July 2013 08:35 PM To: gw micro ([email protected]) Subject: SocialEyes: Let The Fun Begin! Congrats to all the GW Micro staff! I applaud your decision to make SocialEyes a separate product and independent of Window-Eyes per se. That marketing stradegy offers us, as blind consumers of assistive product, several benefits: 1. No bloatware from GW Micro! 2. Independent product development for Window-Eyes and Social-Eyes makes bug fixes and upgrades smoother. 3. The entire blind community can avail themselves of Social-Eyes thus doing more good for more people! 4. A broader market will facilitate the financial stability of GW Micro for years to come. 5. Independent products means users can buy and use only what they need. Even a social dinosaur as myself, I am sure I will enjoy making friends with fellow mathematicians on Facebook. (It would be fun to have friends that can and would enjoy talking about Yitang Zhangs great discovery in mid-April about consecutive prime numbers infinitely many pairs of prime numbers exist the same distance apart, not quite the twin prime conjecture but close; the gap has been reduced to less than 7000.)
