Hi,

It is the synth actually. What synth are you using? If I do Se or even SE
with Eloquence I get two resultes. If I put a capital in fronot of just the
S it is pronounced like See or the letter C. However, if I fully cap it, I
hear S E. So Eloquence doesn't have this problem.

However other synths do, so it is not Window-Eyes.

All the best

Steve

Subject: How to stop Wineyes interpreting strings as abbreviations

Hello

Is there some way to stop Wineyes from saying "south-east" whenever it
encounters the string "se", or "north-west" when encountering "nw"? I
know it is not the synthesiser doing this but Wineyes, because changing
synthesiser, even to another language, does not stop this from
happening. This is very frustrating in another language, as "se" is a
valid word in French, Spanish and Afrikaans, but Wineyes still sends the
string "south-east" to the synthesiser which causes quite a mess in the
other language.

So, is there some way of stopping this, or if not, can there please,
please be an option in the next upgrade to turn this off?

Kind regards

Christo
