Yes, it will show up as an offline message.
I also have a couple of suggestions. It would be good if it were possible to view friends who are only online if you should wish.
This is on our wish list.
Also, would it be possible to implement the option to delete friends or conversations, as sometimes you may wish to remove old messages to prevent overfilling the inbox, and you may also wish to delete friends who don't speak to you anymore.
Unfortunately, Facebook doesn't allow removing much via their API, so this will still have to be done through an official Facebook interface.
