Sandra,

I am using WE 8.2 on a windows 7 64 machine.

This has been a disaster since I got them both at the same time.

I have regressed to IE 8 for the mouse support since there are places on the
web that you just have to click on.

When you google and the answer appears to be on a google groups page can you
read them?

When you use outlook 2010 how do you have it set up? Is it Pop or Imap? My
outlook is imap with gmail. I constantly get the message that Outlook has
stopped responding.

It is a mess. I can't tell what the problems are. No one else fights and
says such bad things to their computers as I do on a daily basis.

We all have gmail accounts. I am the only one using outlook and using WE.
The others are using seven machines and xp machines with outlook, outlook
express, thunder bird and windows live mail. No one has my problems.

I can't use the other clients because the accounting program ties to outlook
and word for reporting and sending of email.

I can't use some functions of outlook because we and outlook don't always
work and you have to disable functions of outlook to allow we to function.
The enhanced app doesn't work when it comes to opening a message in the
browser. Is that because it doesn't like IE8? But,. I need ie 8 to be able
to use the mouse on the web?

So I am sitting here with my hands tied.

Firestone website requires Internet explorer to open, Exostar requires
internet explorer to open to do work with Boeing.

AT&T premier web portal doesn't work well with FF and things are not the
same between Ie and FF when I use them. You have to click on stuff with the
mouse to get them to show up.

Google apps log in doesn't look anything like itself when opened between
the two browsers IE. 8 and FF and now IE 8 is not supported. It is already
that because I am using a screen reader that I need to use plain html with
gmail log in and now they say that I will be missing things or they may not
function because I am using an old browser.

Some parts of the gmail log in are not even present with FF that are there
with IE, how can that be?

And when things stop responding very often WE stops responding too. I then
have to load NVDA to navigate to get the non-responsive program to close and
then WE will come back to life.

Completely stumped

Shannon

What version of we are you using. I use IE all the Google all the time.
Well, I mostly just search with google. I just go to www.google.com. AT
home I have we 8.2 and it's fine. Here I have 8.1 and it's fine. On both
computers I have IE 10. I use outlook 2010 all the time here at work.

Subject: What is the answer for the Window Eyes and IE browser problems?

Good morning,

I am in the same boat as Daniel.

I am coming across the message that my browser is no longer supported with
Google.

What is the browser answer????For Window Eyes to have mouse support in
Internet Explorer it has to be IE 8 and that is no longer a supported
browser.

So my access technology is keeping me from upgrading and holding me back so
what is the answer?

I can't even Google successfully since WE and IE 8 can't be used on a Google
group. Trying to trouble shoot all my computer problems end up with the fact
that I can't figure out who is the culprit. I am strongly leaning toward
thinking that it is a Window Eyes problem all the way around.

Word access stinks, Outlook 2010 stinks browsing the internet stinks
Navigating the operating system stinks.. . .

I am not the brightest crayon in the box but nor the dullest.

I have tried FF and surprisingly enough there are things reported by WE that
IE doesn't tell me and, WE says that there are things on a page with IE that
WE does not report when using FF.

So confidence in my ability to know what is really happening is diminished.
I can't trust Window Eyes to tell me what is going on.

There are sites that won't work with FF and now IE 8 is no good any longer.
WE and IE 9 - 10 don&# 8217;t get along together, WE and Google Chrome don't
work together so what are we supposed to do?

Please help! This is crazy frustrating.

Hi,

I am using WE 7.5.4.1 and Windows XP with IE 8.

I was using a Gmail account besides my primary email account. I hadn't been
on the Gmail account for a while and when I tried to access it today I found
I could not any of my mail and it insists I download google chrome.

Does WE work with chrome?< /p>
