I got the recording and editing program, Gold Wave, recently. I looked at the manual, but I am over whelmed and a bit confused. I just don't know where to start. I want to learn how to use it to record using a microphone and edit what I record. I will be purchasing a microphone this week. Also, I already have some files that I recorded of some old talking book records. You can hear the hum of the record player and scratchiness of the records. Could someone please email me off list and give me a hand with getting started using Gold Wave? I want to fix the already recorded files first, so that I can begin to get a feel for the program before I start recording. Thanks so much in advance for your help.
