Hi Dennis,

Press the Windows key, then escape to get to the start menu, then press your
applications key then arrow down to properties.

This should bring up the task bar and start menu properties.  Select the
Taskbar tab then tab over to Customise Notifications.  Then tab until you
hear show all notification icons.  I bet this is unchecked.  Check it, hit
apply, then OK out of properties and you should be done.

what could cause things to not show up in the system tray that I told to go
