Hello,


I had an issue with the GW Toolkit app.  After trying to resolve the
problem, I decided it might be easier to perform a complete re-install
of Win-Eyes from disk.  I now have a clean install of WE 8.0.  I went to
check for updates from the help menu.  I get a message that I need an
active internet connection and if I have one and still cannot connect,
check my firewall or router settings.  My firewall is off and don't go
through a router.  I can get out on the internet with IE.  I didn't have
a problem before the re-install.  Does anyone have another suggestion to
try?
