Morné,
The progress sounds are handled by the Progress Indicator app. You can
configure it by opening the Window-Eyes control panel and then going to
Apps/Progress Indicator/Options. Be sure it is set to indicate changes
with ascending tones. If it is, then try re-installing the app as it is
possible that your sounds were deleted. If that isn't enough, open the
Windows volume control and ensure you haven't unintentionally muted
Window-Eyes.
