A fresh installation of Winamp didn’t change anything. I still can’t play CDs correctly. A couple of Google searches directed me to a CD-reader plug-in for Winamp. Indeed, I found that plug-in on Winamp’s plug-in page. I downloaded it and installed it. However, when I reinstalled Winamp, I didn’t see it any any plug-in lists. It was supposed to be in the input plug-in list. Now, I don’t know where it is on my computer or how to make it show up in the input list. The Get Plug-Ins button in Winamp is useless. Why did they put it there if it does nothing? Maybe I didn’t uise my mouse keys enough. I find it hard to believe no one has had this problem since so many use Winamp.
