Well, still no go. CDs won’t play even after a supposedly clean install. My computer is only a year old, so this shouldn’t be happening. Yes, all file types are associated and the launch CD box is checked. Thus, it looks like I’m back to getting the CD-Reader plug-in to work. I couldn’t do this with 5.63. The Get Plug-ins button appears to be worthless. The other thing I don’t like about this disaster is that there is noone to talk to at Winamp—just those blasted forums. I unchecked a box on one of the plug-ins as suggested in a forum, but this didn’t help. If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
