My Windows 7 netbook running WE serves as my notetaker, along with other
functions, anyway. Plus, much cheaper to replace even with a small
laptop. I haven't used the Perkins-style braille keyboard in ages.

One of the most interesting items of information I found in the first
article concerns the huge profit margin on hardware sales. It's no
wonder that Mr. Hamilton wanted to sell hardware when he became the CEO
of FS. Magnifiers and Braille displays will always have a market, but
with the good accessibility of Android and iOS devices, I suspect that
the notetaker cash cow may soon run dry.
