Mary,
There is a bug in IE 10 where screen readers which access combo boxes,
such as those found on our voices page, cause them to become empty. The
solution (until Microsoft corrects the problem) is to go to Tools ->
Compatibility View. Once enabled, the page will reload and you should
have no further trouble.

language 2 of 39 etc. No names were read. So I went to my old xp
machine and there, the language and voice selections worked. However
the American English Tom would not play. I got some sort of Windows
Media error both when I tried playing the file directly and when I
first downloaded then attempted to play it. The Russian voice and
Samantha voices played. The Jill voice also did not play. Does the
recorded sample depend on the quality setting or are we hearing
standard, no matter which quality setting we select?
Also, do you at GW have plans to include the newer "expressive" voices?
