Good morning,

I was looking into using chrome and searched the Gw info list archives. I
saw a post from December, where it said that chrome and chromevox worked
well.

I have managed to get the Chrome browser installed on my windows seven
machine but I don't know how to get the chromevox extension. I was wondering
how it was done?

The web documentation on chromevox on the web says that it has to be
installed using Chrome.

Since WE doesn't work inside the chrome window I have gone to the web store
with the use of NVDA but I can't seem to figure out how to turn it on. I
think that NVDA said that it was added to chrome but I don't see it under
the extensions list in the Chrome browser.

When reading the documentation on chrome and the chromevox extension, the
documentation says that the third party screen reader will be used in
conjunction with chromevox. The chromevox extension will read the contents
of the browser window but the third party screen reader will actually be
reading the chrome window tools and menu structure.

That confuses me since the message from December from Chris G mentioned that
you have to unload WE to use the Chromevox with chrome.

Are there any tips or pointers to using chrome and chromevox with the third
party screen reader in this case WE?

Thank you for your time.

Shannon
