Hi Jed: Actually, you need to open the message first. Then if you press alt-7 twice in succession, then it will take you to the attachments list. I think you should be able to read the list of attachments if you press down arrow. If you only have one attachment, you will be highlighting that attachment and you can open it by either a left mouse click or pressing enter, and I am not exactly sure which one will work, but try them both.
