A 3rd and final post on this new thing. I went back to the earlier
version of the TB Enhanced app which still yielded the same results.
However, I made one slight modification which seemingly fixed everything
and made it look like new again by unchecking the message pane under the
view menu in Thunderbird. It was checked and the results were amazingly
different.
If that sequence happens, unchecking the Message pane under layout
seemingly fixed everything. Should that come up in the future, a very
long road of trial-and-air not unlike the job searches but at least it
appears, all's fixed and well once more.
