Hello,
I have a question that may or may not apply to this list. I have my desktop in my room opposite my roommates' room. We are on a wireless network using Comcast broadband. We both have the same type of machine, the only difference is mine is using Window Eyes. When he uses his computer to do searches and connect to web pages it is really fast. The same action, connection to a page will take up to 1 minute to download the page - while IE says 7 percent, 12 percent and so forth until it finally loads the pages and lists the headings and links and such. I will go to You Tube and wait up to 2 minutes for a video to load and his will be automatic. Is it the Window Eyes? I have had my computer checked for any virus, we are running exactly the same software, and I can think of no other difference. I did not think Window Eyes could make this much of a difference. If there is a setting I can change, maybe you could let me know. The slowness is very frustrating, and it has gotten much slower since I upgraded to WE 8.3. Thanks for any suggestions.
