Well, I actually use windows explorer, and it works fine for me.

Open a windows explorer window, press alt-D to go up to the address bar, and
type in your ftp address (e.g. ftp://ftp.myserver.com

The initial ftp:// is important; this is what tells windows explorer it's an
ftp connection and not a folder on your pc.

You are usually then told you don't have permission to access the folder ...
but, under the file menu there is now a "login as ..." choice which you
should choose. In there you can enter user name and password, or, there's a
checkbox to login anonymously. If you check it, there are then other
editboxes, one for your email, which is all I think is required.

When you're in, you can then just copy and paste into your windows explorer
window as you usually do.

Hth,

Chip

Jed,
Please help us out here. People on the list would love to help you
out with your various difficulties. The only way we can be of value
to you is if we have certain information. We need to know the answers
to the following questions. The answers will let us tell you what
will and will not work for you.

1. What operating system are you using?
2. What version of Window-eyes are you running?
3. How much RAM (random access memory) do you have on your computer.

Hey guys,

Any good programs to use for ftp with window-eyes? I need to do some pretty
serious uploading soon, and would like some suggestions.

Thanks,
Jed
