Hi Listers,
A little while back, someone on this list was wondering how to install
the latest version of Ccleaner without also being lumbered with Google
Chrome. Unfortunatley there is no check box to stop Chrome from also
being installed when Ccleaner is being updated. However, if the
installation is done while off line then Chrome does not get installed
although the installation process complains about the lack of internet
access.
After the installation process was completed, the system was rebooted
and the next time Ccleaner was run while on line, it made no attempt to
install Chrome although it checked for a later version of itself.
Can't say that Ccleaner will never try to install Chrome at a later date
but has not tried on the couple of times it has been used since.
