hi, i don't know if this is a w e or live mail problem. but it just started with w e 8.3 problem 1: half the time when i reply to a message focus is put in the to field. not the edit box where you type in your reply. some times it will say it is in the too field. other times it does not and i forget and type my message in the to field and try to send the message where i am informed that the email address is invalid. i then have to cut and paste the message into the edit box and try to send the message again. second problem: many times when i open a message the message is not loading into the browse mode buffer and i have to refresh it with insert backslash before the message is read. the preview pane is turned off and the messages are read in html mode. thanks for info.
