Hello, someone tried to offer help before, dealing with this dilemma I am
having with the Facebook mobile site (m.facebook.com) and Window eyes, but
alas it has not worked. The help offered was to go to the friend's page, ad
to hit enter on the link that says See Friend Lists
once that is done, I was told to hit tab until I hear a checkbox which is
one line above a notation that says "Show in News Feed". When I enter this
page on any friends I have that checkbox is automatically checked. I was
told to hit space on the checkbox to uncheck that box. Then, I hit tab
until I get to the done button labeled done. I hit space on this button
and the page reloads on the friend's page. I have tried this using IE 8 and
Firefox (the newest verison because I installed it specifically to work on
this issue.
Neither browser seems to keep the setting. Is the command not being sent to
the Facebook servers, or is this just not possible for the blind to do on
the mobile site. I understand these opeitons are able to be done on the
facebook.com site by the sited using hovering menus, but that is not an
option for Window Eyes virtual mouse users.
Any help would be appreciated.
