I don't have any problem with my Vipre internet security for years since I
bought the lifetime package. It was call home premium then
I do occasionally do a web online scan to make sure vipre is still working
fine, and so far, its working as it should. What's the problem you are
facing?
Did you contact vipre tech support for help in regards?

And last but not least, do not install more than one antivirus program in
one computer.
You might have turn it off on the realtime scan or active shield but does
not mean the share component is not use by the other antivirus. They depend
solely on drivers to talk to a lot of part of windows, having another
antivirus means it will interfear with one another. As Vipre internet
seuciry or any of the suite program talk to each component, hand in hand
together, despite you might have turn it off on their realtime scan engine,
the firewall is still there and other component.

AVG is on the heavy resource but they signature is quite good.
Kaspersky is very good, to me impressive but they interface like AVG, not
accessible to screen reader.

Subject: antivirus and WE

Hi,
Continuing with the discussion on the decline of the effectiveness of
Vipre antivirus, is anyone successfully using the following with the
latest WE?

The free antivirus programme, AVG seems to get a good wrap as well as
the not free, Kaspersky. Anyone got any experience with these two with
speech?

As Vipre is not a complete dead loss yet, I am thinking of retaining it
along with the firewall component and installing another antivirus
programme as a additional check.

Any comments?

Thanks
Neville.
