Ok!

I'm about to scream and rip my hair out of my head. And of course, i mean that
figuratively. I'm not sure why this is happening to me but, it is. While using
internet explorer 8 on a Windows xp machine and Window eyes, the following
annoyance happens. Let me explain that at first I thought it was a Google
issue. Turns out, it isn't. No matter what website I visit, Window eyes loses
focus on what's there and brings me back up to the top. I can only guess that
this is Window eyes. I am not trying to blame Window eyes at all. But, I am
stumped here. I have checked add/remove programs for any toolbars installed and
have found none. I have gone in to IE and checked for unecessary things that
should not be installed and have found none. I've even gone so far and ripped
out shockwav, and Flash. That didn't do the trick either. I've even gone back
and installed IE8 and that didn't even work. And before anyone asks, yes, I've
done extensive malware scans and found something that was in my reg
istry. I got rid of it with the help of Malware bytes. So it's gone now. I do
have another friend who uses the demo of Window eyes 8.3 and she said she has
experienced the same thing on her windows 7 machine. Is this a serious Google
issue for the fact of no matter what webpage you visit your going to experience
this behavior? There is another webpage called StartPage. And I do have a
friend who uses another screen reader and he says it's accessible. But, I don't
want to make things worse. This problem happened actually this morning when I
was on the Zone BBS. I was arrowing down the page and then it just somehow lost
focus and brought me back up to the top. This also happens when I'm in a Google
results page as well. I did go to the following website to fix the issue.
www.google.com/preferences
For a little bit, this seemed to work. Now the problem has suddenly appeared
again. This does not happen anyware else. It does not happen in any word
document, email, or just me reading something. This only happens on the
internet. And refreshes are indeed turned off. Sorry if this seems a bit long
but, I am not sure what else to try. By the way, Steve told me about the above
link for the preferences in Google.
