Subject: speech history

Hi Listers,

While listening to a demo of the new Jaws 15, a very interesting and
useful feature was mentioned. About 50 items of speech history can be
store for retrieval if required. That is, not only can spoken pop up
messages which only stay around for about 5 seconds be easily
retrieved, but also longer error messages and the like. e.g. You walk
out the room while the computer is completing a lengthy backup,
download etc and you hear the speech rattle off a lengthy message.
But, by the time you manage to get back to the computer, the message has
disappeared off the screen so there is no way to recall it. Using the
speech history feature however, it is possible to recall what the speech
said and act upon it if necessary.

Does WE have a feature such as this and if not, are there any plans to
implement such a feature?

Would it be able to be handled by an app?

Cheers
Neville.
