Hi Brenda,

While I don't know the details of the problem, someone just posted on the
scripting list that she had a problem installing the java access bridge
which was particular to xp, and had to run a commandline command to get
things working properly. I imagine she got this info from the GW support,
so I'd ask them what you may need to do for xp and hava access bridge.

Hth,

Chip

Subject: is there a prolem with the Java Access Bridge and Java, itself?

Hello. I'm wonder about this. I have the latest version of Java, 7
something. It's wanting to update. It updated fine, until I installed the
8.3 Demo of Window-Eyes and it installed the Java Access Bridge. I don't
know what the error is because I can't read the error. It just keeps wanting

to update Java to whatever the newest version is. It's been doing this since

Saturday.

I had been running Window-Eyes 7.5.4.1 on my XP system and decided to do

the demo on it. I don't seem to, so far as I know, be having that problem on

my Windows 7 system. Do we have to downgrade to an earlier version of Java
and if so, how do we do that?

Thanks in advance,

Brenda
