I guess that the best way to kick out those links in google is by switch to another equivalent good search engine. The one I recommend at present is:

I am running Windows XP, the latest WE version, and Eloquence; and I have found all too many times after I press ENTER on something such as a sign-in to a bank site or whatever, Google "rears its nasty screen" with a whole bunch of links including a search field. I wish I knew a way to eliminate ALL OF THOSE SEARCH SYSTEMS - Google, Bing, and all of them - and fix IE so that a search would appear ONLY if I sent an explicit command to call one. Since I know what I want most of the time, I don't need a search provider popping up automatically with a hundred links and fields to tab through ( well, maybe I exaggerate a bit - but not by a heck of a lot). I'm sure Window-Eyes would respond fastser if I had a way to eliminate all the search clutter - especially that which comes from Google! I will appreciate information from anyone who knows how to knock out all those unwanted searches from IE 8. If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
