I’ve had some problems with Window Eyes 8.3 and Internet Explorer 10 and after a diagnostic it was suggested that I move the taskbar to the bottom of the screen from the top where I normally keep it and tochange to the Windows 7 default color scheme from the high contrast settings of white text on a black background I normally use. I haven’t been using these changes long enough to say the problems are fixed, but I’ve already run into a major annoyance beyond not being able to use the settings that allow me to sometimes get some visual use out of Windows. What has happened is that I can no longer alt+tab and alt+shift+tab my way through all of the open applications on the taskbar. With the previous settings I could move back and forth through all items no matter how many there were. Now I can only get back and forth through two or three items and the desktop and something labelled desktop task switching comes up. This is probably something basic for Windows 7, but I apparently missed the change from XP since the old way worked for me under my usual color scheme.
So, I need to know how to move around through all of my open items under these settings. Simply keeping away from having more than a couple of items open at a time just doesn’t work for me. In addition to my general desire to have open as many applications as I want when using the computer recreationally, I usually need to have a number of things up at the same time while writing, my word processor, various notepad documents with notes and reference material and then any browser sessions I might need for gathering more information. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
