It was either AFB or the APH who use to sell dots you pealed off a strip and
placed them on what ever keys you wanted to make tactual. They are clear so
they won't hide the printed label underneath.

  Hi Kevin,

I've been using laptops since they first came out and would never use
anything else. What I do is clean the keys I want to label with an alcohol swab
and make Braille labels with labeling tape. I use the wider one from Staples-I
think it's 5 mm. It's flexible enough to conform to the curved key surface, and
I can get 2 or 3 characters on a label. There's never been a problem with them
interfering with closing the lid.

  Hope this helps,

  Janet

    Hi Robin.

I have an HP laptop as my main PC. I can't remember the model it is, but
it's three years old. It has a keyboard with the numeric keypad, but I don't
like it for the same reason you've mentioned. What I've done with all my
laptops is use an external keyboard. In fact, just last week I purchased a
Logitech keyboard that uses a USB port on your PC. I was using a wireless
keyboard, but it's range was less than what I get with the USB keyboard using
an extension cable, plus its layout was not good. The keyboard I got costs $13
at WAL-MART, and I'm enjoying it.

Just my thoughts. Good luck with whatever you decide.
