Hello,

Of corse, the assumption is that you are running the same version of Window-Eyes on the new system as had been running on the old machine.

To be honest, though, it would scare me to do a copy and paste like this; I'd be afraid of confusing the wineyes.ini settings file on the new system, because it might not pick up things which have been updated since the date of the files on the old system, if you see what I mean. I'm just saying you have to be quite careful. Slight changes in date from one PC and the second would be okay; therefore, don't wait too long before doing the copy and paste; in fact, I would make sure all the apps were up to date on the old system before copying them to the thumb drive and then pasting them to the new system.

hth,

Rod

You would install WE on the second computer. Then go in to your profile and copy your settings on to a thumb drive. Then on the new install on the other computer, go in to the profile settings and paste your settings and there you go.

transferring WE and all its settings/aps to another computer?
    Thank you,
