Dear All:
Before now, on the state web portal that I use regularly to submit claims
for adjudication and payment, I can press insert-Plus on the numpad key and
have the pointer routed to an element. Once the pointer has been routed, I
can then press the slash key on the numpad with the numlock turned off to
invoke the left mouse click function.
Next, I can press the letter B a few times to get to the Copy Button and
then press <enter> to load the selected element.
In recent times, I've not been able to perform these functions! It is my
understanding that the pointer routing to an element is broken in IE9 and
IE10; however, I am using IE8 on a Windows XP Professional Service Pak3
computer at work.
Is it safe to assume that routing the pointer to an element is also broken
in IE8? If yes, this is a sad turn of events! It means that I MUST NOW
depend on a PAIR OF EYES to help me submit claims that I had always
succeeded in punching through myself for as long as I can remember with
prior versions of Window-Eyes.
I do welcome ideas on how best to come up with a workaround for the problem
outlined above. Deepest apologies to all for making this rather long, but
it is work-related and I need these dimes to purchase an RMA for the next
upgrade. I certainly don't want to give up on a screen reader that has
helped me to earn a few dimes however few these might be. Gracious thanks
for all help!!
Sincerely,
Olusegun
