Hello Jim

This is a little strange. It sounds as though there is a program on your machine intercepting your attempt to click on the link.

I assume that you pressed Enter to open the link.

Alternatively, after focusing the link, press the Application key or Shift-F10. This will cause a pop-up menu to display, where you can arrow down to Open link in browser, and press Enter.

This should allow the link to open in your default browser.

hth,

Rod

Hello there all!
Hope you are all having a happy turkey day-at least those who are celebrating it. I am sorry for the off topic message but I have a problem with ThunderBird. Most of the time whenever I go to open a link in ThunderBird I get the message that the link I wish to open might be a hoaks. Then it asks me if I wish to open it anyway. I press yes and it doesn't appear to do anything at all..? I know the link I am attempting to open is good so how do I get ThunderBird to just let me open these links without getting this verry annoying message? You can answer off list. Thanks de <KF8LT><Jim Wohlgamuth>
