Hi Jim,

In the main Thunderbird window, on the View menu, there is an option called Folders, which is another pull-down menu with several options for displaying your folders.

What I do is make sure Unified is checked.
What this does is unifies the folders for displaying all your mail accounts.
For example, with the Inbox, all your incoming e-mail from all your accounts would appear in the same Inbox.

Now, if you then wanted to see the specific Inbox for a particular account, then you would highlight the Inbox in the tree view, and press right-arrow. Then, the specific Inboxes for each account would be displayed below in the tree view. The same is true for the Draft folders, Sent folders, the Trash folders, etc., for each account.

Note, however, that the Unified display also has the Inbox for each mail account further down the tree view, although not the Draft, Sent, Trash, etc.

Alternatively, from the Folders menu in the View menu, you could check All instead of Unified. With this option, each mail account would have its own entry in the tree view, and within each entry, its own Inbox, Draft, Sent, Trash, etc. folders.

Hth,

Rod

Hi there Group!
First of all my apologies for being off topic-sort of anyhow. While using ThunderBird earlier today, I seem to have pressed something wrong..? I had ThunderBird set up in folders so that mail from various sources would wind up in its own mailbox. I have ThunderBird setup to pop my mail from both Google as well as Charter. When I bring up the program I here the bells and W.E. tell me that I have mail from either Charter or Google. Problem, after telling me this I don't seem to have anyway of getting to these boxes? All W.E. says when I go into ThunderBird is gMail. I have no idea of what I did or what I can do to fix it? Can anyone advise? THANKS Much!
P.S. I am able to write messages using ThunderBird.
