I use Malware bytes and don't have those problems. The only time I get
the not responding message is when I do a complete scan and forget to turn
off my Vipre antivirus. I select the malware I want to act on and press the
applications key and down arrow for the choices. I find it much easier to
do with Wineyes then Jaws because you don't have the Shark cursor.

After this discussion, I am left with these concerns: not being able to
read and select malware with the key board and the possibility of having the
program stop responding during a scan. I realize that when malware is found,
usually one wants to remove it, so select all and remove is fine.
Understand, however, that occasionally, you may not wish to remove a
particular item in the list. What then? . Regarding the not responding
issue, hopefully, it will not happen very often. Meanwhile, with Esset Smart
Security, I am glad I can select and act on individual items. It
consistently finds items I wish to keep.
