I'm wondering if perhaps GWConnect.exe and/or windows-x86-skypekit.exe
are being blocked by your firewall and/or antivirus software as spoken
about in the GWConnect manual.

If your not subscribed to gw connect, or if you don't have a copy of
window eyes, you will see adds pop up about every hour or so. If your
subscribed to gw connect, or if you have a valid copy of window eyes,
then you won't see any adds, and you will have the full experience
with gw connect. Hope this answers your questions.

Goodness, we had this whole issue before; I wish they will get their
act together. Surely there are other ways of determining whether or
not one is using a valid copy of Window-Eyes.
I suppose we will have to live with this for some time, as the world
is on holiday.
