It's this Avertv Hybrid TV tuner. No software was included however it does work on my Windows 7 laptop running Media Center. However, I don't want to roll my desktop back to 7 if I don't need to.

Subject: Need an accessible TV tuner program for Windows 8

I received a USB TV tuner for Christmas. Since Windows Media Center isn't
bundled with Windows 8, what alternatives are out there if any, short of
rolling back to Windows 7?
