Interestingly, what has helped me in that situation is to alt-tab away from the
"downloading" page to take focus somewhere elese, then alt-tab back, seems to
work. Using we 8.4 and xp, service pak 3.

Subject: Re: clicking links in Firefox

Tell me about it! My issue is somewhat different. When I click on a link to
go to the next page, WindowEyes keeps telling me that it is "downloading page"
still. Then it gives me a list of links, anchors, forms, and the like, and goes
back to saying downloading page constantly. At one time, I just sat down for
five minutes hoping things would settle but never did. Then, I asked my
daughter and son, both of whom are sighted and quite well-versed in software
and computers in general, if the webpage is reloading or refreshing. They said
nothing is showing on the screen refreshing or reloading. They could do the
clicks for me and set me to work at it again. I gave up asking questions about
it and decided to make the best of situations. This is quite frustrating but I
don't know what to do. I was using FireFox v.26 with WindowEyes V8.4 on a
Windows7 64Bit computer. It's hard to know if the issue is with WindowEyes or
with FireFox. I sent email to both companies and no answer yet. I am
not complaining. I am just looking for help if it is available. I love the
WindowEyes staff. They are wonderful people. They are personable. I have spoken
with almost all of them. But the issue is, there are some situations making
computer usage a little bit more challenging to where work becomes difficult
once again.
God bless and a happy New Year to all

  Solomon.

the web site www.kroger.com. I try to click on the sign in link and nothing
happens. This seems to happen a lot with Firefox. I tried to press redraw and
MSAA on and off but no luck. Any help would be apriciated.
