I have purchased both the Vocalizer and Vocalizer Expressive English voices. In my humble opinion the Vocalizer voices are much easier to listen to than the Expressive voices. The Vocalizer Expressive voices are slightly more responsive but don't sound as good as the Vocalizer voices. The advantage of the Expressive voices is the ability to change the pitch of the voice. I have not been able to find the right pitch combination to get a Vocalizer Expressive voice to sound the same as the same Vocalizer voice thus getting the voices sounding the same but with the better responsiveness of the Expressive voices. I am running them on a Windows 7 64 bit machine with the fastest Intel I5 processor and 8 Gigs of Ram and both Vocalizer and the Vocalizer Expressive will tend to break apart or get periods of static when going through a reading of a large web page. If I was to recommend purchasing one I would go for the Vocalizer voices and use the Australian Lee premium voice.

hi, I'm strongly thinkin of purchasing the vocalizer voices. What are
everyone's thoughts? Are they fast? Are they responsive? I normally
use elaquience but thought if these are better I'll switch. thanks.
