I'll likely continue to purchase upgrades as I prefer having my own copy of Window-Eyes and the flexibility to be able to install Window-Eyes wheerever i need to. Having said that, for certain reasons, I haven't had to purchase upgrades for awhile but the remaining sMA count I had was used when version 8 became available. I was about to purchase another SMA this year. I certainly understand though, for many, it's a matter of economics. My hope that through this arrangement that when users do download window-Eyes based upon a purchased license of Microsoft Office, that GW Micro does receive compensation in some form. Of course this is privy to the business arrangement in place. This will at least provide Window-Eyes the visibility it deserves through it's development with Microsoft Office in mind.

Thank you Microsoft and GWMicro. I have a retail version of WE now but no SMA so before the next upgrade, I'll be buying a copy of Office and using the free Window Eyes. I have been using WE since version 4.1 and never had a problem that I would have had to pay support for. If you use in a work place then it may benefit you to keep paying for the upgrades for the free support. If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
